| Vacation is rapidly approaching. I am so excited to journey off with the family for a week of R&R...and Mickey Mouse!! Had a great time at the lake house this past weekend with you high schoolers.

| Well for those of you who decided to rejoin the school society today, I hope you had a great first day of seeing old friends and maybe even making some new ones. I enjoyed kicking off our new school year yesterday in youth with our new revamped room!! Thank you so much to all who worked so hard to make it come to fruition. To Jordan, Anthony and Matt who put in the marathon day on Thursday...YOU GUYS ROCK. Make sure if you see the Jackson family to thank them for the ping pong table and couch...Also if you see the Wiedower family thank them for the TV as well as for having the Middle School out to the lake yesterday...the Lamberts and the Roberts also provided a boat and driver...all are so giving.

| Hey all. Feeling much better after being in bed for a couple days after our trip to the Czech Republic. I hope all is well with everyone. I can see that so many people are out of town, on vacation, or in pre-school activities. I cannot wait to see everyone. This Monday August 7th, the high school has been invited to come and help Sallie Cone teachers paint some classrooms. This is a great opportunity and since I love service and food, we will combine the two and meet at Sallie Cone at 9:00 AM ready to paint and work until 1. Then we will decide where to go for lunch and celebrate serving Christ with some food. Hope you can make it!!
